Not only Flair Mondadori – Austrias first international fashion magazine – was thrilled by the success of the H&M Flair Fashion Night which took place on August 20, 2009, also the invited guests, of which I was one. In cooperation with Hennes & Mauritz the re-opening of the most exclusive shop in Vienna, Austria was celebrated. This shop is located in the former building of the ‘Kaufhaus E. Braun & Co’ on the famous ‘Graben’ in the city center. I enjoyed the evening, which was full with glamour, fashion and ‘meet and greets’ with great people … and went on to the exclusive ‘rooftop party’ – a secret location. The hosts, Mrs. Desirée Treichl-Stürgkh, editorial director of Flair, as well as Ms. Claudia Oswald, Managing Director of H&M, welcomed several VIP’s and also Austria’s new shooting star as a model, Ms. Iris Strubegger, for whom we booked a nice room at The Ring, Vienna’s Casual Luxury Hotel for her stay in Vienna. She already worked with famous fashion labels like Marc Jacobs, Hermès and Dolce & Gabbana and is also ‘the face’ for the new autumn/winter champagne for Valentino. A great party with great people, great fashion and 2 magnificent locations.
